Autumn 2026 departures: Ha Giang, Sa Pa and Ninh Binh
Harvest season and buckwheat flower season are the peak of the north-west routes. Fixed departures are now open through December.
Mid-September to the end of November is the finest window in the northern mountains. The terraces of Sa Pa and Mu Cang Chai turn gold, while the Ha Giang stone plateau enters buckwheat flower season.
The four-day Ha Giang – Dong Van route departs every Thursday. The three-day Sa Pa – Fansipan route departs Thursdays and Fridays. The one-day Ninh Binh route runs daily.
As this is peak season we recommend booking at least ten days ahead to secure preferred room categories and coach seating. Groups of 15 or more qualify for dedicated rates.
